Outdoor Hire Rain & Wind Policy

Beds & Herts Fun will only cancel if the wind speeds exceed the legal limit or heavy rain is predicted all day. In the event of light rain or scattered showers then we will expect the booking to go ahead.

However if it’s raining on your date and you don’t want to proceed you can use your 20% booking fee/deposit to reschedule to another date within 6 months but we won’t refund this. We must be told by 10pm the night before at the very latest via email to info@bedshertsfun.com.

Cancellations after this time or when we arrive to set up will result in additional fees and no option to reschedule using the original deposit.

Refunds are not accepted as you have reserved an item, time slot and space on the van that could have been hired by another customer for an indoor venue on your date. The only time a refund is issued is if Beds & Herts Fun cancel the booking.

Please be aware we are in the UK after all and the weather is unpredictable. Rain might be a possibility therefore if you’re worried about this we’d strongly recommend booking an indoor venue or having a fall back date to reschedule to just incase.

90% of our items have a rain cover which helps in very light rain showers. If you’ve booked an open top item we will try our best to swap for one with a cover. If the bounce area becomes wet users must come off and responsible adults must dry the area with towels before anymore use begins. Please read the terms & Conditions of hire for more information.
